Absolutely a lifesaver. I hired the Content Critter about 5 years ago after a really bad experience with a local doggy daycare (Camp Bow Wow). I work a full time job with about a 1 – 1.5 hour commute added to both ends of the day. So it was really important that I found someone to watch my basset hounds, Jilly and Dudley. Claudia was so friendly and reassuring when I first met her for the introduction. It was obvious to see that she really loves what she does and that the dogs would be in great hands.

It’s hard to feel comfortable about having someone in your home whom you do not know and when you are not there. So, I was a bit apprehensive. Yes, I read the reviews (all wonderful) and even called a reference (wonderful as well). I needn’t have worried. Claudia and her entire staff (Wendy is the best!!!) treat my “kids” as their own. They have wonderful play times in the back yard, short walks (my bassets refuse to walk more than a few houses), lots of fresh water and treats. I arrive home to a summary of the time spent with my kids.

The staff at the Content Critter is completely trustworthy and very reliable. And kind. In all the years of working with them, there has never been an issue. Never had a missed appointment. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for a better group of people. If you are considering a dog walker for your furry kid, consider the Content Critter. I would be lost without them!

We have used Content Critter twice for taking care of our cat. Claudia and her team are fantastic. They always do a great job taking care of our cat (and he is always very happy to see Claudia!), feeding and playing with him and giving him his medicine. They also send us pictures when we are traveling to let us know that he is doing well. They keep an eye on the house too (e.g., taking in the mail, taking out the trash bins, etc.). Everything about this business is fantastic and we cannot recommend them enough.

I can’t say enough about Content Critter! We have been using them for once a week play days and overnight stays for our English Golden Retrievers for the last few years. Before we brought our first Golden home 3 years ago, I received a referral from a friend telling me to check out Content Critter – the friend was in a similar situation of having a large breed dog in a household where people are at work and school all day. I connected with Claudia and knew right away that she was a pure animal lover! When the time came that our puppy was home with us, Claudia came to meet with us and I knew instantly that this was someone who would give our pup hands on care. From that meeting on, we have been part of the Content Critter family and I made sure to check with them before getting our second dog to make sure they would have room for him as I could not imagine managing without their help! We joke that Jed is a “dog whisperer” as our pups seem to listen to him better than they listen to us! Our pups have also given their seal of approval -all we have to do is say ” Bark Bus” and they run to door with tails wagging as they know that momentarily they will be out the door for a full day of fun with Content Critter.
